Roger Morales brings over 35 years of experience in the engineering and inspection industry with a specialized focus on Structural Building Envelope systems. As President of My Florida Pros, Roger has led and supervised more than 2,500 Building Recertification Inspections throughout Miami-Dade and Broward Counties, ensuring compliance with Florida’s 40- and 50-Year Recertification programs.
His diverse background in mechanical, electrical, and structural systems, combined with his FAA Commercial Pilot credentials, allows him to personally oversee high-rise inspections using aerial drones, thermographic imaging, and advanced diagnostic technologies.
Roger’s leadership philosophy emphasizes precision, accountability, and safety — ensuring that every inspection meets the highest professional standards in Florida’s demanding coastal environment.

As Vice President of My Florida Pros and lead of Florida Building & Land Surveying, Rick Morales brings over 10 years of experience in land surveying, FEMA Flood Certificates, and drone-based mapping.
Rick’s professional focus includes ALTA/NSPS surveys, elevation certificates, drone photogrammetry, and boundary and topographic surveying throughout Florida. His dual background in business administration and geomatics engineering uniquely equips him to manage projects with both technical accuracy and financial efficiency.
Rick is passionate about integrating technology with field expertise — ensuring every survey and certification meets strict FEMA, county, and title company standards.
Gordon W. Myers, P.E. – Vice President
Professional Engineer | Licensed General, Roofing, & Electrical Contractor | Carnegie-Mellon University Alumnus
With over 50 years of experience in Electrical Engineering and Facility Maintenance, Gordon Myers serves as Vice President of Engineering Operations. He holds multiple Florida licenses, including General Contractor, Roofing Contractor, and Electrical Contractor — a rare combination that enables him to assess complex building systems holistically.
A graduate of Carnegie-Mellon University, Gordon’s expertise spans electrical design, commercial facility maintenance, and safety compliance. His deep knowledge of Florida Building Code and electrical infrastructure makes him an invaluable asset to large-scale recertifications and electrical thermography evaluations.
J. Fernando Rodriguez, P.E. – Vice President
Structural Engineer | Threshold Inspector Candidate
Fernando Rodriguez brings over 10 years of experience in structural design and inspections across Florida, Cuba, and the Caribbean. As Vice President and Structural Engineering Specialist at My Florida Pros, Fernando has contributed to the successful completion of numerous high-rise structural evaluations, load path analyses, and building recertification reports.
He is also in the process of becoming a licensed Structural Threshold Inspector in Florida — further expanding the firm’s ability to perform high-rise and special structure evaluations under Florida’s stringent post-SB 4-D standards.
