During the height of the pandemic, Florida Builders Engineers & Inspectors stepped forward to assist healthcare professionals, nursing home staff, and local organizations across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties.
Through coordinated efforts with local seamstresses in Hialeah, Florida, our team produced and distributed over 5,000 protective masks to hospitals, nursing facilities, and senior care centers hit hardest by COVID-19. These efforts were led personally by Roger Morales, CEO of Florida Builders Engineers & Inspectors, who emphasized the importance of protecting those on the front lines:
“In addition to financial contributions, we are producing masks and delivering them to local healthcare workers who need them most,” said Roger Morales.
✈️ Engineering Help That Reaches Beyond South Florida
As part of our continued commitment, Florida Builders Engineers & Inspectors planned to expand relief operations to Orlando and Central Florida. Using our firm’s private aircraft, we organized direct mask deliveries to healthcare providers in areas facing critical shortages.
“We can deliver masks via private airplane delivery to Orlando and distribute them there,” Morales shared. “We are eager to do our part until this crisis passes.”
Our team continues to monitor ways to support other regions through both engineering resources and community action, ensuring that our impact extends far beyond construction and inspection services.
